This morning our club made the difficult decision to move our meetings to Zoom only through the end of January. Luckily, we heard from our District Governor John Bob Siemienowicz who shared how these digital tools can expand our global reach, and connect our communities like never before. We're excited to get started in the new year! Thank you John Bob!
May be an image of 3 people, screen and text that says 'Zoom Webinar'Thank you to those who were able to attend today's meeting. I'm grateful for the community that our club creates, and for the opportunity to connect with each and every one of you. I wanted to send out a quick note to recap what was discussed, and also to thank our speaker this week! The below is not any sort of official meeting minutes, but rather a quick round-up of important things that were touched on during today's meeting, and are being shared for the benefit of those who may have missed the meeting.

First, a big heart-felt thank you to this week's speaker:

This week we heard from John Bob Siemienowicz, our District Governor. John Bob shared with us some great insight about how Zoom and other technology can truly make our club have a global reach. We're excited to put into practice some of what John Bob shared with us this morning in the new year!

Next, here's what we discussed today as a club:

We got updates from Duane about the Chicken BBQ. He'll need help with planning, food prep, and a new farmer's market element he hopes to add this year. If interested in helping, please reach out!

Kathy shared updates about the Day of Service art project planned for January with local schools.

Rhys updated the club on how planning and preparation for the Home Show is coming along.

We made the decision to move meetings to a *remote only* option starting next week. So in addition to the new meeting time, we'll also be meeting via Zoom. I've included the Zoom call link below.

Aimee asked the club to complete some homework before our next meeting! Please bring to our next Thursday meeting some things you feel our club has done exceptionally well, and what you hope to make our club "resolutions" for the new year. What should our club goals be? What service projects do we want to focus on? What impact can we make? Let's think big!
